Response to activity on chapter 3

I learned that I have a lot of new things to learn to become a efficient teacher using technology in my lessons. I am willing to learn these things because my role as a teacher has changed many times over the years and I am quite accustom to change! I learned that working together is an important skill but that I need to include the technology so that learning can expand beyond the classroom. These skills are very important because children can get knowledge from others, reflect upon their peers work rather than just the knowledge of the teacher or a text.

I am a little scared to make comments on other peoples blogs because I am never sure of the audience and how they will percieve what I have written.

Thing 3

I enjoyed looking at the widgets a little too much. I found one on inspirational messages, which didn't work properly, and had to remove it. I then added a widget on beautiful mountain pictures, I decided to save it and put it on my blog. I was then running short on time and found a widget but I believe it doesn't want to work either. I may have to go back later and rework it when I determine if it is useful.

Thing 2

I am in awe. I cannot wait to begin using the tools I have learned about today! I feel we have a wealth of resources at our hands to use as a teacher and in our personal life. We will also have the ability to direct our students to gain a wealth of knowledge to use in and well beyond our classroom setting. This is a lot of new information for me, I am sure it will become easier as I become aquainted and use the things I have learned. I feel like a student in classroom where they are speaking a language I don't understand.
